I am building a 10,000 square foot agricultural building, and needed the 100’ x 100’ concrete pad with a 50’ x 10’ retaining wall built. The first contractor had no idea what he was doing. I called Joe for help and he and his crew are super heroes!!! Joe knew exactly what to do to make my dream building come true! He and his crew worked so hard, in cold weather. The concrete pad is PERFECT! I can’t say enough good things about Dogwood Concrete and would highly recommend them for any concrete project. PS: don’t let Joe fly your new drone😂😂

Dogwood Concrete took my tired, rectangular concrete slab from drab to fab! The project included cutting off edges to create curving lines, cutting out a planting pocket in the center of the patio, and finishing it off with a stamped concrete overlay in a flagstone pattern, which was color-tinted to match the hues found in the natural flagstone paths near the patio. The result was stunning, and I could not be happier. The staff was punctual, professional, and willing to work with me to achieve my vision.

The only comment I would add as a critique was, they did not confirm they were definitely starting on 4/19. The original conversation was the week of the 19th. The only negative on the work performed, I didn't see expansion grooves placed in the slab like were mentioned in the quote.

Everything very professional but not stuffy. After 50 + years I still enjoy construction. Some can make it some make it easy and fun, That is what Dogwood Concrete created. Joe and his crew were super easy to work with, cost-efficient, and extremely friendly. I am happy with the actual concrete work, but we installed a drain on the concrete apron in front of the building and it gets easily overwhelmed with water from a moderate rain, so that is a bit frustrating. Overall, I would recommend this company to anyone.

I normally do not write reviews but I thought this was the least I could do for Joe & his crew. Dogwood Concrete went above & beyond our patio expectations. Joe (owner) came out to our property multiple times both before & during our patio project, whether it was confirming our color/stone choices to just checking in on his crew to make sure everything was going smoothly. He guided us through every step of this project with his expert opinion/advice to ensure a beautiful outcome all while keeping us within our budget. We had a vision & Dogwood Concrete blew it out of the park. Both Joe & his crew have a keen sense of attention to detail which I can really appreciate being a perfectionist. He was also extremely patient with a few design changes. I seriously cannot say enough good things & how thrilled we are with our gorgeous patio! Joe (owner) is hands on as much as possible when he’s not looking for imperfections & he genuinely cares about the overall outcome & happiness of his clients. We are considering a stamped overlay for our front walkway in the near future & we will certainly be contacting Joe for the job!

I would not be surprised if these guys invented concrete because never in my life have I seen a more competent crew. They’re on time, on price, and communicate extremely well. During our project Joe noticed my dog had a limp so he showed up the next day with a memory foam dog bed to go on our patio. I want to buy more real estate just so I can keep hiring DGWD.

I hired another contractor to do stamped concrete on our front porch. By adding the concrete, it made the first step very high and not up to code. After several attempts to work with them, I reached out to Dogwood Concrete. Joe assessed the situation and came up with a plan to add an additional step to make it safer and up to code. Yesterday his crew came out and put a step at the front entrance and driveway entrance and I am very pleased with the results. It looks better and is much safer for us and our guests! Very, very happy! Only regret is that I didn’t hire Dogwood to do the whole project.

It is a true pleasure to give our highest recommendation with no exceptions to Joe and his entire team at Dogwood Concrete. They provided a turnkey service for installing our 10’ x 20’ glass greenhouse from the concrete foundation to assembling the complicated greenhouse, including all of the systems such as electrical, misting system, and lighting. They were responsive and diligent in performing all aspects of the job in the highest quality manner at a fair, value based price.
